I have had my CPAP for about 6 weeks now. I had the SAME problem as you, this big ache around my heart. I couldn't lay on my left side for long without the ache. Occasionally I would fall asleep on my left side, and the ache would wake me (if not the apnea).

The ache is gone, and I can now lay on my left side. I am assuming it was a problem with my heart, and I am only 45 years old.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be? I thought maybe fluid??

Has anyone else had this?
