Yeah,
I do not think that I have any acid refex. Well actually I don't so I do not know if this could be the problem. Plus I know what heart burn feels like and this pain is far from being a heart burn kind of feeling. It is more of an ache pain then a burning pain. I have no shortness of breath either nor is it hard to breath during the pains.
Yes, I have a neurologist for my narcolepsy and I assume the only reason why she gave me only a MSLT is because I had very severe cataplexcy. In case some of you guys on this forum don't know cataplexcy is a symptom that is only found in narcoleptics. So I assume that my neurologist assumed that I did not need the over night test because my cataplexcy symtoms were so obvious. But you are correct that my neurologist should have preformed both tests at the same time. I always was upset that she never did so in my case. I would rather eliminate any other possibilities then to over see some thing. They say that a person can suffer from more then one sleep disorder and it is not uncommon for a narcoleptic to have apnea as well. Lets just hope that my problem isn't a serious one.
I am being sent for a EKG test where they make you walk on a tread mill. Apparently my blood pressure is 140/90 on average and I am only 29. But I really do wonder why I am only getting these pains in my chest at night time. I find it weird that I wake up 1-2-3 times a night with this pain.
Thanks for the feed back guys. I will still keep the possiblitiy of GERD as a suspect. I will ask the doctor about that.
I don't know so if anyone has an opinion on this then feel free to share.
