Yes I agree with Sue Ellen, you need to find out WHY they want you on BiPap. You should also look into CFlex. I find it MUCH more comfortable than BiPap. Don't feel alone or anxious. It might take you a while to get all of this figured out. Do your research, visit the Boards, talk to another doctor even. I personally have found a ton of great advice on OSA message boards. You are definitely not alone!
