Yes you can buy direct, I bought an everest with rechargable batter cpap. All I need was the priscription which the doctor gave me. I faxed a copy to the seller and got it in a few days. You do have to know what you want, if you are not going to deal with med. supplier at hosptial. but there is so much information on the Interent. you should be able to get info you need. Now when it come to mask I would suggest getting it from some place that has several to try and find one that is comfortable and fits.
