Posted by D.H. on May 30, 2006 at 18:21:04:It’s been 6˝ since I started CPAP. I was retitrated after complaining of renewed fatigue and generally feeling “lousy.” I expected to be told that I need a much higher prescription (possibly higher than the machine can be set), a Bi-PAP, or an Auto-PAP.
Instead I was told that I had no Apneas or Hypopneas during the titration, and that my pressure was increased (from the standard 4cmH2O of titration) only to silence snoring. The end result is that my prescription was decreased from 15cmH2O all the way down to 12cmH2O!
I took one nap on the reduced pressure already, I’ll update in a few days when ?I get a better handle on how I feel.
