Question for a sleep tech.

Posted by AussieJohn on June 01, 2006 at 06:12:15:

G'day,

Could somebody tell me how the sleep techs decide on a given pressure. If I want/like a higher pressure, is there any danger or disadvantage in me changing my machine to get that pressure? I have low AHI scores, but do not feel like I am getting enough air. I don't know why. My pressure is 9cms now. Sometimes I feel like I am not getting enough air. I learned how to adjust the machine, but I am scared about doing it. My doctor says my pressure is okay. My question is, is there any danger in me chaning the pressure?

Thanks,
