I use both a full face and nasal mask, I use the full face when I can't breath through nose, there is a greater opportunity for leaks since the mask covers more area, so this will always be a problem to some degree. I did have problem at first, lots of leaks, but after awhile of sleeping with it and getting it adjusted right, very little. when i leak its happens when exhalling, sometimes pushes mask open. but since its when i am breathing out, I don't believe it effects the amount of presure. This doesn't actually answer your question, but just trying to say that I think a few leaks will not effect the presure, but if it is gushing out maybe. I use the nasal mask when ever possible, and only use full face when necessary. I sometimes switch within the same night. It does alow for maxium results for good sleep. Hope this helps
