I can relate to your problem, also, but on a much smaller scale.

I have been on my CPAP machine for a little over a month now. At first, it was a dream come true for most nights.....sleeping through out the night and feeling quite rested and refreshed in the morning. Last week I had three consecutive nights where I tossed and tumbled, like in the days before CPAP. I was really quite disappointed, to say the least. I discussed it with my doctor and she was going to increase the pressure. After talking to my DME (respiratory tech)........well, she talked me out of it. She said that there will be nights like that. She rationalized it by saying that a lot of people that do not have sleep apnea, do not sleep great every night. She suggested that I keep the same pressure for another month and see how it goes from there. I think most of us with sleep apnea want 100% of great sleeping each night, but in reality, I don't think that will happen. Even with the few nights of still tossing and turning, the other nights are so much better sleeping than before. I am so thankful for my CPAP machine and the "fix" to my problems, even though it can still be a pain some nights to use, but over all I feel so much better with using it. This is just my experience so far. Just a thought!
