I had UPPP with a turbinate reduction. I noticed good results right away, but in hindsight it may have been the turbinates as much as the UPPP.

Of course, the results did not last more than a year.

You should have a follow up sleep study at around 3 months post-op. This will let you know how much improvement you have.

At 3 weeks, I was still a bit fatigued, although all pain was gone. I'll bet the GA is the cause of your remaining fatigue. You probably have another two or three weeks of healing before you can fairly evaluate the surgeries.

I wouldn't consider the procedures a waste, but they may indicate that your OSA can't be cured by UPPP and GA alone. With sleep test results, and with a follow up nasal scoping, you should have a good bead on what you might want to do next (if anything).

Check in with your surgeon, too.
