Searching for Sherlock Holmes hat....

Couple of ideas come to mind:

With the pillows, are you able to sleep in a different position (side) thereby reducing airway collapse?

Not all autopaps know how to respond to events through every time of delivery mask. Is it possible you're having events but they are not being registered? If so, you should be feeling fatigued.

The directed airflow of the pillows may be better at opening your obstruction if it's in the nasal cavity.

I assume you had a nasal mask and not a full face mask. If the later, air would be coming in from both your mouth and nose. If your obstruction was your palate then it appling air only to your nose could make a difference.

Any new meds?
Lost any weight?
Changed anything in the sleeping environment?
Any praying, fasting with weeping and nashing of teeth? :)
