Are you having any breathing problems? My first attempt at CPAP didn't work. Discovered I had allergies that stopped up my nose. Treatment for allergies has helped.

Do you have a heated humidifier? That can make it much more comfortable.

Also, you need to adjust your mask while lying in your normal sleeping position. Your face changes shape when you lie down so you need for adjust to this. A common mistake is making the mask too tight. Start out with the mask real loose and gradually tighten it up until you get to the point that the leaks are mostly gone. Then make small adjustments from there.

I used a magic marker to mark my strap positions once I had it fitting well. That way I was able to wash it and not struggle to find the correct fit again.
