Hello and welcome to the forum.

Yes, 2 days is very fast to get results but more studies are being done these days and effiency is improving. Also, software is helping tally up the results which are then stuck into an automated form and there you have your results. I assure you there wasn't a 12-member board of sleep specialists pouring over your charts for a whole day :)

I'm no doctor and I don't even play one on TV, but the numbers show you are missing a lot of deep sleep. Your brain has learned to stay stuck in stage 2 to prevent airway collapse. I'm guessing you have terrible fatigue and possibly some other symptoms. Maybe headaches, nocturia, daytime fog, high blood pressure, panic attacks, food cravings, joint pain? Maybe you've gotten use to it, maybe not.

No PLMD and no centrals, very good news there.

O2 of 82 is getting pretty bad but we've all heard of much worse. If you were in the hospital, I think the alarm goes off at 90 or so.

Basically, you have a sleep breathing disorder that definately needs to be treated but this is not like getting cancer. Instead, it should be a slight relief. Go for the titration, you just might get the best sleep you've had in years. CPAP is not without its issues, but most of them can be solved by a motovated person.

Keep us posted.

Sleep, the mandatory luxury.
