Well, I am different. :-) I titrated in the sleep center at 8. I was changed later to 12 YIKES. Why so far off I have no clue *shrug* I am wondering if an APAP can keep up when someone (me) has 70 apneas/hour (more than one per minute). I would think that the machine would have to be VERY QUICK to put the pressure up to prevent an apnea. I'm having difficulty figuring how to explain this, but I would think it might have trouble if apneas came right after one another. By the time it put the pressure up, wouldn't the apnea episode be over? I guess I don't understand how APAP works. I also wonder why they don't put mine ON auto, since I have the Autoset.
