Make sure that the elbow-shaped cover over the exhaust port is present. Also, make sure that the oxygen port is sealed. The oxygen delivery port on the UM nasal mask is directly beneath your nostrils. This port is only for patients who use both CPAP and oxygen (for instance those with SA and emphysema).
