I am in total agreement that sleep apnea can cause or contribute to a vast array of disorders. The reduction of oxygen to the brain alone would negatively impact everything. Our body chemistry is so complex that I think it is very difficult to accurately sort out "cause" and "effect." New information is constantly causing the medical community to revise previously-held opinion. Perhaps the amazing thing is that so many of us are relatively healthy. FWIW, I've come to believe each of us needs to learn to listen to, and to trust, the wisdom of our own bodies. I think that's a higher authority than any doctor, counselor, therapist, what-have-you. If some solution imposed by others is not working, one must keep searching.
