AJ, you seem to connect almost any condition to apnea because of some common symptoms. You jump to conclusions clearly not supported by any meaningful data.
You have outdone yourself this time.
Apnea patients and autistic patients have high levels of uric acid, therefore apnea causes autism.

Autism is a complex cluster syndrome with highly varying manifestations.
A recent article in Scientific American provides a much more believable insight, Mirror neurons Autism. Nov 2006 issue, look it up online.
Do autistic patients have a higher incidence of apnea than the general population? This should help answer your "theory".
