Sleep terms can be found right here on this site:

As for reading a sleep study, I think it's best go by your doctor's opinion of what the study says. The doctor should review the data and indicate mild, moderate, or severe apnea as a diagnosis. Any indepth knowledge of sleep study data does not usually lead to any better understanding of what is causing the apnea, and this is what all of us would like to know.

Sleep apnea information can be found on this site or any number of other sites on the internet.
