I did all those things except lose weight. That was seven years ago. You’ll still need diet and exercise for that! I also use a dental device for grinding of the teeth (a.k.a. bruxism). Mine came from the dentist. He had to custom grind it so that my lips were not pinched between the device and the CPAP mask.

BTW, I have taken the CPAP overseas. Just make sure that you bring an adapter (you won’t need a converter, almost all CPAPs run on 220 volts as well as 110). I never tried using it on the plane though.
