Risk of Diabetes

Posted by D.H. on December 06, 2006 at 10:32:48:

Studies have shown that OSA is linked to a risk of Type-II Diabetes. Does anybody know of any studies that show to what extent treatment compiance reduces that risk? This would apply to those diagnosed with OSA who do not suufer from Diabetes at the time of OSA diagnosis. Also, does anybody know if there is an increased risk of type-I Diabetes associated with OSA?
