I did not mean to imply you have central, I just am reporting my situation. The people who interpret sleep study data are better prepared now than they were years ago when I started my journey through this. If your data does not show any centrals, most likely your problem is something else. You may need more time to adjust to cpap or may have some other underlying situation. Either way, you need to find a doctor that you are comfortable in dealing with. I know how anxious and frustrated you can get tryiong to find a solution but first you need to find the cause. In my case, I had many sleep studies, many xrays and various other tests to determine that that the base of my tongue was way too large for the airway. That is what led me to seek surgical intervention. I also read this forum for years before opting to seek the jaw advancement. However, I sought all other avenues prior to to commiting to surgery as it isn't something that can be undone.
Stay calm, learn all you can about your situation, seek second and third opinions, find a doctor you are sure of. Don't jump at the first cure and take every thing you read on this forum with a grain of salt...remember most of us are not doctors (I am not)and even if we were, we can't treat via the internet.
