Head Gear Wearing Out?

Hello All,

What is the life expectancy of the straps that hold the CPAP mask in place on your head?

Mine are only a number of months old, but it appears the life is going out of them. This results in mask leaks, and pulling straps too tight to stop leaks.

Does regular washing increase life expectancy of the straps?

Any tips?
