Aminophylline - not a medication that I would use to treat OSA. Aminophylline has siginficant cardiac side effects (e.g. arrythmias) with a fairly narrow therapeutic window. It would only be considered in someone with significant central sleep apnea - but even then there are other interventions/medications that I would try before this one (e.g. acetazolamide, oxygen, bipap), etc.
