Colds..nothing works

I've tried everything. I'm on flonase, so it works pretty good most of the time. When I go to bed, my nose is pretty clear (although I have a very runny nose at that time, at least it isn't stuffy). I tried the "clearing the nose" trick, but it doesn't stay cleared out. I woke up suffocating last night, and tore the mask off. Afrin tonight. Yes, I'm using a heated humidifier. It's not turned up very high.
