every strap they make (the Veronique was like a midievel torture
device)and my jaw ALWAYS snapped open and air rushed in. I'm
happy with my full face mask now :-) This process took me 10
years of adjusting and trying stuff.

What is happening, it sounds like to me, is that air is rushing in
your mouth as it's opening.
