mid-nite COLD BLAST OF AIR/DRY

Posted by biracialqt on January 16, 2007 at 18:40:54:

Okay this is definately related to my other post...I am waking up at about 3 or 4 am with a totally soar dry throat/nose and cold air...

it seems as if the humidifier is working well (nice and warm) as I fall asleep, but then it wakes me up because it seems cold and I gotta take the mask off. I have a remstar cpap and b4 the humidifier was set to 2, I have since set it to a 4 ...I wonder if the machine is defective or maybe it just *appears to be cold* after wearing it a few hours or if maybe there is some sort of timing device that turns it back down?

anyone have a clue or have any similar experience?

thanks, I am soooooo glad to have you guys!
:-)
