Well, I hope this thread stays on topic about comparisons with other nasal pillow type headgear.

I'll quickly answer your question, however. The old Breeze didn't fall apart as much. However, it broke a lot more! So, I guess they changed it so under pressure it comes apart rather than breaking.

As far as being too large, I haven't noticed that. Its size is quite adjustable.

Now it's the part that holds the pillows (called the plenum) that broke on me. Ridiculous price of $50-85 to replace that little part. I ended up today, after I had written the OP, ordering that part, and new tubing (mine is loose)($20). I figured it could take awhile to decide on a new headgear, and in the meantime I should get my Breeze fixed.

I still want to look at other alternatives though, and perhaps change from the Breeze. Looking at sites that sell CPAP equipment, I see that there are now many alternatives for those who prefer the nasal pillow type of headset. One interesting model from Respironics, and several others as well.It would be hard to decide on one of these just from looking at a photo, however, especially since such equipment cannot be returned.

I do like the large dilator pillows I use with the Breeze, as I find they stay in better and seal better than the regular type. I don't know if dilator type pillows are available for any of the other brands. Or would Breeze pillows fit on the Respironics or other models?

Hoping to hear from people who have tried these different nasal pillow setups.
