I fought it for two plus years. In my case, it took going to a new doctor and essentially starting over. The biggest and most coming event was I awoke due to choking. After a lot of research on my part, it was discovered that the cpap, bipap induced central apnea at about the same rate as it controlled the obstructive events. I had the bilateral jaw advancement (MMA) which essentially cured the obstructive events, from 60+ per hour to 4 in eight hours. I still have some lingering centrals that fluctuate from 10 to 19 but taht is a lot easier to deal wiht than 60. I dream again and actually feel pretty darn good. Good luck on you quest.
