Hi Sleepy Q,

I guess it is good in a way to find out that there are other people out there that are suffering terribly form this issue. My sleep doc is a world reknowned Neurologist located in
Boston. She has sent me for MRI's, sent me to a sleep psychologist etc. and nothing seems to work.
I to have never snored in my life, however I wish I could snore because at least I would be getting sleep. Last night was a perfect example of what happens to me. I went to bed at around 10:30 and probably fell into some sort of sleep at around 11:30. At 12:30 I awoke after seemingly dreaming for that hour and awoke with a headache and an overall awful feeling throughout my body. I then tossed and turned for the rest of the night with horrible insomnia. I am sitting here at work feeling as if I had 20 beers last night. I would say that for the last 10 years I have not slept more than 2 hours at a time. As far as the OSA DX goes I feel that I was given that DX as appeasment. The Apnea that I experienced during 1 of my studies was very mild. I believe I have CSA, however my Doc insists that I don't. If my sleep in a sleep clinic could only mirror the sleep that I have at home I believe it would show Central events. Everything I read about CSA is exactly what happens to me. The only issue with that Dx is that I don't fit the average CSA patient (no disease, head injury etc). Thanks for the response, keep in touch.
