Also, indications that it's working are that you're not snoring anymore and you don't have to go the bathroom in the middle of the night anymore (or less). When I first started on a CPAP it was trade off: The CPAP would wake me up often, but when I did sleep, it was much better sleep. So, at first, I felt about the same. As you get used to the mask, it wake you less, and you'll sleep more, and feel better.
