My Res Med S8 Vantage was working fine, but four months after I got it, it stopped recording my sleep data. I took it back to my DME to be checked. He couldn't find anything visibly wrong, so they kept my machine and gave me a new one in exchange while mine was sent back to the manufacturer to be fixed. Then the manufacturer decided mine showed inconsistent results, so they decided I should keep the new machine instead of them repairing the old one. No charge, since it was under warranty.
