Did your sleep psychologist try cognitive behavioral therapy? I have started seeing a bahavioral sleep psychologist and he has recommended that I go through CBT. I'm slightly skeptical but at this point I'll give anything a shot (I will probably initiate a new post to gather some info on CBT). What I like about this guy is that in his opinion it's no use attempting CPAP until I can get my insomnia cleared up. In his words "it's like telling someone who already can't sleep to try sleeping with another distraction." (Finally, a medical professional understands my logic). We'll see how it goes..
