BiPAP works well for some people, especially those with very predictable breathing patterns. My cousin loved his. I couldn't use one, however. I have a very random breathingt pattern, sveral long slow breaths followed by some shallow rapdid ones. This caused me and the machine to get out of sync resulting in me waking up trying to inhale with not enough pressure or exhale against too high a pressure. To get through the problem, it may be worth having the doctor prescribe one and getting it set up correctly. Heck, almost anything is worth a shot one time. Will probably take another sleep study. My cousin and I do not need any type of flow generator any more. Jaw advancement eliminated OSA in both of us.
