I think you may be stuck with whatever the sleep lab recommends you need to take (or not take). I know what you're going through...you're interested in getting good sleep lab results so your titration will be accurate. But it's very common to go through several titrations. Is the issue one of having apnea or not having apnea, *OR* do you know you have sleep apnea and just want to make CPAP work the best? If you'd like to avoid some of the follow up titration studies, ask to take home an auto-cpap.
