European Travel

Posted by Bobert on February 22, 2007 at 06:02:05:

Morning

I know that this has been discussed sometime in the past. So, I apologize now.

I have a F & P CPAP machine that is six years old. It does not have a "self adjusting" voltage regulator for European travel. Since I will be making four trips to Italy over the next year, I've been looking at buying (outright) a smaller machine that is capable of making this voltage transition, and compact. I also understand that if the machine changes the voltage automatically, you are not to use a converter with it.

Are we allowed to talk about specific machines here? If so, can anyone recommend one to me? I am looking at one that is an M Pro MPAP. . . . .supposedly small, lightweight and a good travelling machine.

Like all of you who are compliant, I cannot sleep/nap without my machine. I am afraid of getting over there and "frying" my CPAP machine with their higher voltage.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
Bober
