Check again! I had an F&P machine from 1999, and it indeed was compatible with 220 as well as 110. You probably have a three-pronged plug, though. You should be able to get an adapter for Italy. Grounded receptacles in Italy have three co-linear round prongs. The company that makes these adapters is Franzus, so you can look them up on the internet.
