My new sleep doc (also a pulmonologist) prescribed Lunesta for my centrals. I do not use any type of flow generator. My centrals have been tested and measured anywhere from 9 to 19 dependent on the lab and the night (3 different labs, many different nights). Since the MMA surgery a few years ago, my obstructives are down from 60 to 0 so just the centrals to contend with. Some nights the Lunesta works, some nights it doesn't. One day a cure will be found, until then not much to do about it as the cpap increases the centrals (at least in me).
