Where can I buy hose insulation?

Posted by DoesThisCPAPMakeMeLookFat on March 07, 2007 at 13:22:15:

Hi everyone,

I am so glad to find this forum. I am very happy to have my new CPAP overall. I slept all the way through the night for the first time in years! I usually wake right back up after about 5 minutes with my heart racing and a feeling of panic. Very annoying. Not with my new CPAP.
My biggest problem is the rainout that I see some of you have posted about. I have put the hose under my covers but it doesn't always stay put and I wake with droplets falling on my face or at worst feeling like I am drowning at about 3am. I have turned the humidifier down, lowered the machine below my bed level but I still get water in the tubing.

My other problem is..how do you all manage to get the hose to dry before the next night? I wash mine out, hang it up and the next night there are still water droplets inside of it. When I got my CPAP, the RT suggested I cut up tube socks and thread them over the hose if I have a very cold house. My house isn't all that cold but I would like to order insulation if you wouldn't mind sending me a link.

Thanks very much for all of your advice.
Again I am so glad you are all here,

Pam in California
