It's been ages since I have been in this forum.
I have been using a Remstar Auto with a ComfortLite mask for quite a few years and handle it quite well. Last night, I woke up to the horrible sound of the machine sounding very sick. It's broken down and my supplier says forget getting it repaired - will take too long and cost too much. With medical insurance rebate etc, he suggested getting the latest and greatest machine.
Which brings me to my question. He is suggesting I replace my old machine with a Remstar Auto with C-Flex. Because I've been away from what's available for so long, this is all new to me.
So, can anyone out there who uses this model give me some feedback as to what it is like??? My supplier tells me I will notice a huge difference from what I have been used to - as in, I will breathe a lot easier with this new machine. And I will keep my ComfortLite headgear. I don't use humidification. The C-Flex feature is totally new to me, I've never had it before and I'm not sure I fully understand what it is.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Many thanks.
