The Adapt SV is the new name for the Autoset CS (CS standing for Cheyne-Stokes). Resmed have redone the algorithm and remarketed it I believe.

The machine detects periods of absent or reduced breathing and provides timed breaths during that period. In other period is provides CPAP so it can theoretically treat CSA, OSA, Cheyne-Stokes and complex OSA. I haven't seen the new ones in action though. I think they haven't been long on the market.
