Yes, let me clarify that I am using that term "learn" loosely. I mean to say that the machine can detect flow limitations and respond to them. A CPAP machine cannot do that.

I do not know much about the program in an APAP. I am under the impression from talking to PAP dealers that these things have sophisticated computers which operate using algorhythms. I have a limited knowledge of what an algorhythm is, but I am not very technologically inclined. For the purpose of educating ourselves, I will post on a new heading so that people who are up on the technical aspect of APAPs can give input.
