Do APAPs use Algorhythms? (techie ?

Posted by Captin Cannuck on March 27, 2007 at 00:38:28:

I am interested in learning more about how APAPs work. I have been told by PAP dealers that APAPs use sophisticated algorhythms. Being a layman, I do not know so much about that. My understanding is that an algorhythm is a kind of baseline from which future projections could be made. Is this correct? Do APAPs use algorhythms? How?
