I agree with tomjax. I've never heard of this. In fact, BEFORE I went on a CPAP I used to get sinus infections frequently -- not anymore. Never in almost 3 years. And I'm not very conscientious about cleaning my equipment. However, if you already have a sinus infection, could a CPAP prolong it? I doubt it, but not sure.
