Thanks for the advice everyone. I bought an extra hose and two hose covers. I already had the unit lower than my head so that wasn't an issue. Now I can let one hose completely dry out while I use the second one. I am surprised that the cover doesn't completely stop the rain out. I am now wondering just how those folks at the sleep study place dry those things out between clients.or do they?..eewwww
