I do not have any experience with batteries, but I can tell you that the way to go about what you are trying to accomplish is to start with the CPAP device. You will have to find out if the airline will accpet your device. I was refused permission to use my CPAP during a united airlines flight last year. Curiously, I have seen a brand of CPAP on the internet from a CPAP supply site, which is advertised as being approved by United Airlines for inflight use. Perhaps it might be the case that some types of CPAPs are Kosher with the airlines, and some are not. I think that this is where your line of inquiry has to start. You need to find out what airline you want to fly, then find out what CPAP your airline will accept, and then think about the battery to power the CPAP which is kosher with the airline. I am sorry to say that this is the state of affairs for CPAP users at the present time.
