LOL...I will tell you a funny story. For quite a long time, I did not know about this smart-start function. I was really spooked out when the device came on seemingly by itself. For a while, I thought that it might be "on the fritz" ... or, that some other explanation must account for it..that there were some kind of supernatural forces at work! :)
