Unfortunately, I think all you will find is anecdotal evidence. Fatigue was my chief complaint for a couple of years prior to being tested for sleep apnea and doctors insisted on treating it with anti-depressants, mainly Prozac. In vain I protested that at one time I had been truly depressed and my present condition didn't feel anything like depression. When I didn't respond well to Prozac, the psychiatrist shrugged and said I was a "partial responder," whatever that meant.

Being on CPAP gave me the courage to finally toss the Prozac once and for all and I've never been tempted to go back.

Follow your gut instinct and do not take any medications that you truly feel are not appropriate for you. I'm not advocating a flip, "I just don't wanna" attitude, rather, a thoughtful, deep-down conviction that your prescribed medical treatment is missing the point somewhere. And if you truly do better on anti-depressants, then by all means continue with them.

Good luck to you and don't give up!!
