Thanks for your reply. You have given me some great ideas. I never considered that the fire dept would be able to provide a generator in that kind of situation, and I never thought about a car (although I don't own one right now). I am using a RESMED APAP, and I understand that I would need to have a Pure Sine Wave inverter in order to run DC power. It sounds like you have a good CPAP which has an inverter built right into it. Could you tell me what kind of CPAP/APAP do you use? It sounds like a generator would be the way to go. Is there a way to store fuel safely?
