Regular CPAP, Bipap and the auto machines never worked for me, either. I had the hyoid suspension as a stand alone procedure about 7 months before having the GA, also as a stand alone procedure. The combination had little effect on disturbances but helped increase the O2 levels. I had the MMA about 7 or 8 months after the GA. Very successful.
