My standard advice for this problem is to establish a sequence in which you put on and remove CPAP. You should make a rule that you put on the mask and turn on the machine while sitting up or standing up. Then you lie down. In the morning you can reverse the sequence. For potty trips, you may want to leave the mask on, but follow the rest of the sequence. Hopefully, you’ll learn not to deviate from the sequence.
