Need a new favorite mask here

Posted by Cheryl on May 09, 2007 at 14:20:50:

I clung to the old Mirage mask (not the Ultra, the original) for as long as I could. I was shocked when I called my usual website to order more cushions and learned they were no longer available. I knew the mask was not mfgd anymore, but there had always been inventory when I called. No more.

So now I'm living with a Fisher & Paykel FlexiFit HC 407 which is just okay. It's heavy on the bridge of my nose and I do not love it.

Any suggestions on a lightweight mask? I'm eyeing the ComfortCurve I see online, but only found two posts on this board and not much info from people who have tried it. One said it hurt the cheeks and the other said it leaked like crazy.

I figure by the time I find my next favorite, it too will be discontinued and I'll just have to start the quest all over again. I've been sleeping with a bipap for 7 years and enjoyed the Mirage for 6 of those years. I suppose that is a pretty good run.

Any suggestions on something "Mirage-Like"?

P.S. The headgear for the Fisher & Paykel is made for a huge head. I swapped it out for the Mirage headgear which is much softer and lighter in weight.
